Abstract
Whenever multinational corporations enter into a court battle, all they aim for is financial gain or business gain. For them human lives mean nothing. Taking Union Carbide's example, nearly ten more companies have started a struggle to gain financially and business-wise after being held accountable for negligence. Even though the Governement is responsible for the welfare of its citizens, in the face of such a situation, even the biggest governements fail to hold such giant companies liable.
