Abstract
Due to the leak of methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas, the victims have suffered immensely both economocally and socially. The biggest tragedy after this tragedy itself is that are now being used as political currency. Every elections sees the politicians lining up promising to uplift the conditons of the victims and after every election all of these politicians fail to keep their promises.
