Seventy-five years ago, eight members of the law faculty at the University of Wisconsin founded the Wisconsin Law Review. It is uncertain if the founders expected the Law Review to endure for three quarters of a century; however, it is certain that the wisdom of their purpose is the foundation of the Law Review's success. Their purpose was to produce a legal journal that would be of service to the people of Wisconsin, and would facilitate the logical development of the law in Wisconsin. These goals have made the Law Review successful for seventy-five years, and a return to these goals will make it successful for another seventy-five years.
