This archive would not be possible without the tireless work of Professor Marc Galanter, through both his involvement with the Bhopal court cases, tracking news articles about the disaster, and finally organizing and maintaining a print collection of the documents for many years. His thoughtful input, in addition to his invaluable knowledge about the Bhopal disaster, will be preserved in this archive.
Marissa Reynolds went above and beyond as a 3L to ensure that nearly every document in the collection was correctly tagged and scanned. It is no exaggeration to say that without Marissa, the project would not have been completed so quickly or so efficiently.
In addition to Marissa, several student employees at the University of Wisconsin Law School Library have contributed their time to the unenviable task of scanning numerous documents and collecting metadata. Emma Babler, Jonah Baron, Zach Fannin, Ellen Faletti and Hannah Miller each contributed to making this collection easily searchable.
Sumudu Atapattu, Jarrod Bogucki, Katie Dunn, Mitra Sharafi and Kris Turner also helped to make this digital archive possible.
The UW Law School looks forward to adding more documents and resources about Bhopal. As these items are added, the donors will be acknowledged here.
